2026 'Resilient Youth & Families' Forum

On 18 April 2026, approximately 100 participants from across Singapore's anti-drug ecosystem came together at the NCADA DrugFreeSG 'Resilient Youth & Families' Forum. The programme included:

Opening remarks (opens in new tab) by the Guest-of-Honour A/P Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs and Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs
Presentations on the National Drug Perception Survey 2025 and the Study on Parent-Child Conversations by the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)
A panel discussion with NCADA members, Dr Victor Seah from SUSS, and DrugFreeSG youth advocate Mr Dervin Lua
Breakout group discussions where participants shared insights and possible solutions to strengthen community efforts in supporting youth and families in drug prevention, which can be supported by the DrugFreeSG Fund

Provide early intervention and pre-exposure prevention through deeper research into at-risk youth segments for targeted interventions Channel at-risk youths to upstream non-clinical interventions Encourage youths to consider healthier options such as sports and help them be more discerning Connect youths with role models such as social workers	Build parents' capability and confidence through increased parental involvement and complementing preventive drug education efforts in schools Create urgency for parents to be more proactive in having age-appropriate anti-drug conversations Build trust and relationships between parents and children, including face-to-face interactions

Engagement with NUS Helix House on Anti-Vaping & Substance Abuse

On 5 Feb 2026, NCADA partnered NUS Helix House to deliver a substance abuse awaremess session to 70 student residents.

Council member Ravindran Nagalingam addressed the dangers of inhalants and etomidate misuse while outlining support pathways for students. The programme combined a panel Q&A with a Kahoot quiz led by NUS student ambassadors.

NCADA collaborates with community partners on ground-up initiatives supported by the DrugFreeSG Fund to promote preventive drug education.

Ripple: Every Choice Creates Changes

Ultimate Friends SG engaged over 200 students at ITE College East to raise awareness about the dangers of drug use.

Anti-Drug Experiential Learning Journey

Mawar Community Services organised a series of experiential visits to deglamourise crime and drugs in conjunction with World Drug Day.
